The Inside Story is a new, modern and up-beat portrait documentary series. Each portrait tells the individual story of a fascinating national celebrity who has a dramatic and fascinating biography. The story is told by the main character himself, who openly tells his or her story together with friends, colleagues and family. The story is supported by reconstructions, archive material, private photos and video. In the Danish format the biographies told are among other the Danish Prime Minister, a popular TV personality and the national king of pop. They all have in common a very dramatic story where they have experienced the downside of fame or have experience personal tragedy. They tell us about their road to success, the ups and downs and their dreams and courage to pursuit their personal goals.
