Alexander and Benjamin are twins and have been together since their birth 14 years ago. At some time they will have to start going their separate ways. Even though it is not happening all at once, it’s starting to become a reality. Up until two months ago they went to ballet school and study school together, but now they have split up for the first time: Alexander has started at a professional ballet school and now has four hours of training each day. They are both very active boys; they also play classical music in a quartet. The documentary follows their preparations for a talent competition. Benjamin plays the piano and Alexander gets extra singing lessons. They used to sing together in a choir but Alexander had to stop because of lack of time. They also go kayaking together. What will happen now that Alexander is starting to pursue his own career, which does not involve Benjamin. Being together or apart is the theme of this documentary. Recognition Nominated for the International Documentary Festival IDFA in Amsterdam
